Mr. Lewis Henry Oevermann, age 83 of Holladay, Tn passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018 at Jackson General Hospital. Mr. Oevermann wa born March 9, 1935 to the late August Henry Oevermann, SR and Elsie Jaster Oevermann in Burton, TX. He was also preceded in death by five brothers: August H. Oevermann,Jr., Otto H. Oevermann. George Oevermann, Charlie Oevermann, Harold Oevermann. He was a retired welder from McCall Industries, was of Lutheran faith and a U.S. Army Veteran.Survivors include:Wife: Voncille Renfroe Oevermann of Holladay, TNDaughters: Teresa (Donnie) Blackstock of Decaturville, TN                 Carol (Tony) Tubbs of Holladay, TNBrother: Edwin H. Oevermann of Houston, TXSisters: Natalie Ginn of Burton, TX            Rosa Lee Kenjura of Brenharm of TXFive GrandchildrenTen Great Grandchildren Funeral Services will be conducted Thursday July 19, 2018 at 2:00 PM at New Prospect Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Phillip Gulledge officiating. Interment will follow at New Prospect Cemetery with Military Honors.Visitation with the Oeverman family will be held Wednesday, July 18, 2018 from 1 PM until 9PM and resume on Thursday, at 10AM until 12 at Oakdale Funeral Home Decatur Co. and then go to New Prospect Church.
