Longtime Camden City Attorney Andrew “Andy” Bradley Frazier Jr. passed away on October 12, 2017 at his residence. He was born on August 27, 1940, in Camden, TN to the late Bradley & Doris Gallimore Frazier. Frazier graduated from Camden High in 1959, after spending his junior year at Castle Heights Military Academy in Lebanon, TN. He went on to graduate from Bethel College in 1963 receiving a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Science. He went on to teach school in Foley, Alabama before attending Law School at Memphis State University where he received his Juris Doctor from the School of Law May 27, 1967. Frazier followed in his father and grandfather’s footsteps where he practiced law in Camden in the Law Firm of Frazier & Frazier Attorney’s and later Frazier & Whitworth Attorney’s. He served as City attorney for the City of Camden for 50 years, from 1967 to present. He also served as President of the Benton County Bar Association for many years. He was a member of the Board of Directors of the Bank of Camden from 1971-2007 and Chairman of the Board for 10 years prior to the sale of the bank. Frazier was a member of the Camden Cumberland Presbyterian Church, where he served as an elder since 1973. He was appointed to the judiciary committee of the Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served for 9 years. Later he served on the Congregational Board of Stewardship Benefits and Foundations for a term of 9 years. He was a Charter Member of the Camden Rotary Club. Frazier enjoyed singing in the choir, boating, golfing and he was an avid sportsman. Andrew Bradley Frazier Jr. is preceded in death by his former wife Betty Connor Frazier. He is survived by his wife Mary Alice Frazier of Camden, Tn. He leaves behind his daughter Leigh Frazier Fry and son-in-law Anthony “Tony” Wayne Fry of Mt. Juliet, TN; a son Andrew B. Frazier III of Camden, TN; a granddaughter Elle Jae Frazier of Mt. Juliet and two step granddaughters Kyleigh Grace Hollingsworth and Katie Ann Hollingsworth of Camden, TN. A step son Glenn Harvey Hollingsworth of Camden, TN,  First Cousin Linda M. Crump from Louisville, KY and a dear best friend Charles Ray Cowell from Union City, TN. Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, October 21, 2017 at 2 pm at the Camden City Cemetery with Dr. Robert Watkins officiating. Visitation with the Frazier family will be on Saturday, October 21, 2017 from 10:00-1:30 at Oakdale Funeral Home.
