Phillip Carnell Evans

Mr. Phillip Evans, age 79 of Parsons, TN passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Decatur county Hospital. Mr. Evans was born October 23, 1937 to the late George Madison Evans and Ethel Mae Fryer Evans in Decatur county, TN. He was, also preceded in death by two sons: Danny Ray Evans and James Paul Evans, two sisters: Frances Evans and Virgie Price. He was a retired laborer for a sawmill.Survivors include:Wife: Betty Evans of Parsons, TNSons: Gary(Debbie)Evans of Sugar Tree, TN         Timmy(Katie)Evans of Parsons, TNDaughters: Wanda Gail Evans Tubbs of Parsons, TN                 Joy Crews of Parsons, TNEleven GrandchildrenSeventeen Great GrandchildrenFuneral Services will be conducted Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 3:00 PM in the Chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Larry Blackwell officiating. Interment will follow at Cross Roads Cemetery in Parsons, TN.Visitation with the Evans family will be Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 2:00 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 8:00 AM and continue until 3:00 PM.
