Marcelle Douglas

Mrs. Marcelle Douglas, age 77 of Camden, TN passed away Monday, October 2, 2017 at Camden General Hospital. Mrs. Douglas was born May 27, 1940 in Benton County to the late Wayne Bell and Stella Melton Bell. She was, also preceded by her husband: Ray Douglas, brother-in-laws: Leonard Hicks and Bobby Jordan.Mrs. Douglas was married to her late husband, Ray Douglas for 56 years. After retiring from H.I.S., she worked with Ray on their farm. She loved her family very much. She was a member of Prospect General Baptist church.Survivors include:Son: Dwayne (Debra) Douglas of Big Sandy, TNDaughters: Elizabeth (Danny) Farmer of Camden, TN                 Jackie (Mark) Palmer of Camden, TNBrother: Manley (Carol) Bell of Camden, TN  Sisters: Mary Hicks of Camden, TN            Martha Jordan of Camden, TNSeven GrandchildrenTen Great GrandchildrenFuneral Services will be held on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Leonard Greer and Bro. Bill Douglas officiating. Interment will follow in the Prospect Cemetery.Visitation with the Douglas family will be held on Tuesday, October 3, 2017 from 4:00-8:00 PM and resume on Wednesday, October 4, 2017 from 10:00-1:00 PM.
