Johnnie Lillian Caldwell

Ms. Johnnie Lillian Downey Caldwell, age 85 of Camden, TN passed away Monday, November 28, 2016 at Centennial Hospital in Nashville, TN. She was born October 18, 1931 to the late John Downey and Julia Ann Grindell Whitehead Downey in Maryville, TN.  She was a member of Camden First Baptist Church and the Easter Star Mt. Carmel Lodge.Ms. Caldwell was, also, preceded in death by her husband: Robert Elmer Caldwell, sisters: Beatrice Downey, Betty(Allen)Ward, Mary Ellen(John)McGill, Lillie(Bill)Russell, Maude(Joe)Potter, Minnie(Hobart)Cagle, Violet(Richard)Cutshaw, Edna(Lowell)Trotter, Annie Mae Whitehead, brothers: Lee Downey, Bill and Max Whitehead.She is survived by a daughter and son-in-law: Judy and Darrell Ingram, sons and daughters-in-laws: Robert and Toni Caldwell, Donnie and Benita Caldwell, grandchildren: Jennifer(Kip)Ellington, Niki(Michael)Berry, Rob and Katie Caldwell, great grandchildren: Rook, Abby and Carew Ellington, Gabrielle and Cecily Berry, several brothers and sisters-in-law and numerous nieces and nephews.Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, November 30, 2016  at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Mike Blankenship officiating. Interment will follow at Camden City Cemetery.Visitation with the Caldwell family will be Wednesday, November 30, 2016 from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Jude Hospital or Samaritan's Purse
