Roy Donald Collomp

Roy Donald Collomp, age 77, of Camden Tn., passed away on March 11, 2016 at Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. Mr. Collomp was born on February 8, 1939 in Memphis, TN. He graduated from Bartlett High School in 1957 and from Union University in 1962 with a Bachelor of Science in Business. He belonged to the ATO fraternity. In 1962 he married Sherry Delane Duncan and moved to Camden TN in 1963 to work with Benton County Electric System for the next 18 years as an accountant. He then began his career with the TN Dept of Revenue as a revenue officer in tax enforcement and was a member of the fraternal order of Police.  After 35 years he retired in Dec 2013 as a supervisor in the Jackson TN office. He was member of Camden First Baptist Church and served as a deacon and church treasurer.
