O. T. Cottrell

Rev. Cottrell was a retired brick mason. He served his country in WWII. However, he will be most remembered for his untiring labor in the ministry of the Gospel. His 64 years in the ministry begin when he preached his first sermon on Sept.8, 1948. Most of his service was at Iron Hill Pentecostal Church where he labored to build a building and congregation. He, also, pastored at Beacon and Darden. His life touched hundreds of people in a very personal way, spiritually and as a friend and neighbor. He fought a good fight, finished his course and kept the faith. Pastor J. Michael Wilson and Rev. Jacky Batson will officiate the service.
