Cecil Edward Lobaugh

January 15, 1934 — August 22, 2011

Cecil, age 77, passed away after a long and valiantly fought battle with Lewy Body Dementia and Parkinson's Disease resulting from exposure to Agent Orange during Vietnam War. After graduating high school in Olton, Tx., he joined the Air Force, retiring as a Master Sergeant after serving 21 years. His service took him all over the world, notably Goose Bay, Labrador, and the Azores. He spent four years at the United States Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, CO., and three tours in Vietnam. He was a Master Mechanic and taught mechanics at the Benton County Vocational School, retiring after 12 years. He loved teaching and especially loved his students. He was married to his wife, Roxama for 20 years, was a active member of First Baptist Church of Camden, worked with Relay for Life and Boy Scouts. He and Roxama enjoyed gardening, dancing, traveling and visited every state except Alaska. He will be remembered as a good friend with a big smile and a loving heart and sorely missed by all who new him. Bro. Charles Parker will officiate the service.
