Dr. Victoria Murphree-Khan

Dr. Vikki L. Murphree was a graduate of Riverside High School and returned home to practice medicine in the fall of 2001. It is believed that she was the first woman to graduate from Riverside High School to return to Parsons to practice medicine. She graduated from Christian Brothers University in Memphis, received her medical degree from East Tennessee State University and completed her residency at the University of Tennessee at St. Francis in Memphis. The work and contributions of Dr. Murphree will be long remembered in Decatur County and she will be missed by all who knew her.
