William PeeWee Travis

TRAVIS, William, "PeeWee"; age 71, of South Fulton, TN died September 12, 2007 in the Veterans Hospital in Marion, IL. He was born April 4, 1936 in Benton, KY to the late W.C. and Grey Watson Travis. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one sister Roberta Travis, and one grandson Little Donny. Mr. Travis was an Army Veteran who was very proud to serve and proud of his country. He was a talented carpenter and wood craftsmen who was responsible for many homes built in Benton County. His great love was his family, and his legacy is their love for him. SURVIVED BY: Wife: Wanda Travis Four Sons: Donny, John, Bobby, Stevie Two Daughters: Cathe, Darrie One Brother: Wayne Two Sisters: Joan, Charletta Fifteen Grandchildren: Lance, Bethany, Janna, Candice, Colt, Austin, Matt, Chris, Hunter, Zach, Jesse, Paige, Andy, Noah, Reagan Three Great Grandchildren: Ailyah, Aiden, Dillon Mr. Travis's remains are in the care of Oakdale Funeral Home where visitation with the family will be Saturday September 15, 2007 from 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM. Memorial Services will be held Saturday September 15, 2007 at 4:00 PM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Steve Whitworth officiating. Interment will follow in the Camden City Cemetery.
