Mrs Katherine Imogene Griggs-Jordan

Funeral Services for Ms. Katherine Imogene Griggs-Jordan, age 84, of Parsons was born December 3, 1923 the daughter of the late Gilbert Turner Griggs and Golden Baker-Griggs. She entered into eternal rest on January 1, 2008 in Jackson, TN. Ms. Griggs, a devout Christian and homemaker, was loved by many family and friends and was well known for her chocolate pies and cornbread dressing to bring delight to her loved ones. Ms. Griggs is preceded in death by her husband, Mr. Earl John Jordan, two sons, Stephen Earl Jordan and Mark Daniel Jordan. She is survived by her daughters Phyllis Adkins of Parsons; JoAnn Jones and husband David of Tampa, FL; Deborah Kelly and husband Dennis of Scotts Hill, TN. Two sisters Lydia Burton of Carrolltown, TX and Edna Gramm Parnell and husband the Honorable Clovis Gramm of Linden, TN. Visitation with the Jordan family will be held Friday January 4, 2008 in the Oakdale Decatur County Funeral Home from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held on Saturday January 5, 2008 at 1:00 p.m. in the First United Pentecostal Church in Parsons with Pastor Steve Burns officiating.
