CHAVIS, Linda, Darlene; age 59, of Big Sandy, TN died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 in Jackson Madison County General Hospital, Jackson TN. She was born November 22, 1947, in Gary, IN, to the late Richard and Betty Verbosky Whitten. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Robert Davis, one son Robert Franklin Davis Jr., and one sister Sandy Renolyds. Survivors Include: One Son: Walter Davis of Springville, TN Two Daughters: Lisea Leonard of Big Sandy, TN Maria Perry of Louisiana One Brother: Terry Whitten of Indiana Two Sisters: Cindy Dowen of Mississippi Candra Mason of Florida Six Grandchildren Mrs. Chavis's remains are in the care of Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden where visitation with the family will be Friday June 22, 2007 in the Oakdale Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held Saturday June 23, 2007 at 11:00 AM from the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Knox Dinwitty and Gene Christopher officiating.
