Ada "Onie" Mitchell

Mrs. Ada “Onie” Bennett Mitchell, age 101 of Parsons, TN passed away Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Decatur County Healthcare & Rehab. Mrs. Mitchell was born May 11, 1919  to the late Bryan Dean and Georgia Lovell Dean in Rogersville, AL. She was also, deceased by two husbands, James Herbert Bennett, Edward Mitchell,  four brothers, Cecil Dean, Richard “Buster” Dean, Buddy Dean, Eugene Dean, four sisters, Sallie Hill McGee, Opal Wyle, Odell Dean, Maudie Dean. She was a Homemaker and a member of Sardis Methodist Church.      

Survivors include:

Daughters: Sarah (Bill) Reeves of Darden, TN

                   Ann (Gene) McCoy Potts Camp, MS

Son: James (Beth) Bennett of Memphis, TN

Grandchildren: Randy Inman(Pam), Belinda Tucker (Scott), Ross Allen Bennett(Katy)

Step Grandchildren: Jeff McCoy (Angel), Mark McCoy (Lisa), Rick McCoy

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro Kevin Bromley officiating. Burial will follow at Graham Chapel Cemetery at 17260 TN 69  in Savannah, TN .     

Visitation with the Mitchell  family will  be Wednesday, January 20, 2021 from 9:30 AM until service at 11:00 AM.

Family requests masks to be worn and social distancing.
