Audie Brewer

Audie Pinkston Brewer, age 86 of Wildersville, TN passed away Saturday, May 27, 2023 at his home. Audie was born December 12, 1936 to the late Rev. Ether P. Brewer and Early Odell Duke Brewer in Henderson County, TN. He was also, preceded  in death by one daughter, Rita Vaughn, and her husband J.C., five brothers, James Alvin Brewer, Charlie Elsworth Brewer, Ether Junior Brewer, Terry Dale Brewer. and Jerry Wale Brewer, two sisters, Mavie Melton and Carolyn Brewer. He was a retired entrepreneur and minister.  Audie was a member of Ridge Grove Baptist Church and was a Sunday School teacher.

Survivors include:

Three children, Rickey Brewer (Marie), of Fort Worth, Texas, Cathy Long (Dave), of Moore, Oklahoma, and Phyllis Monds (Daniel), of Harrison, Tennessee.

Six grandchildren: Victoria Betzler, Rickey Brewer, Jr., Jennifer Lemon, Nicholas Long, Holly Long, and Whitney Monds

Two great-grandchildren: Charles Edward Betzler V and James Betzler

One Brother: Alton U. Brewer

Two sisters: Martha Smith, Patricia Rogers

Graveside service was held on Monday, May 29, 2023 at Mt. Ararat Cemetery. Rev. Phillip Halter and Rev. Damon Brawley officiated. Oakdale Funeral Home handled all funeral arrangements.
