Avie Odean Allen, age 96, of Holladay, TN passed away on Saturday, May 18, 2024, at AHC Healthcare in Jackson, TN. Mrs. Allen was born September 10, 1927 in Decatur County, TN to the late John Miller and the late Eva Harris Miller. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Jessie Allen; sons, Lynn Allen, Don Allen; daughter, Imogene Bastin; and brothers, Clarence Miller and Leo Miller. Mrs. Allen was employed by Slant and Slant for 35 years. She was Baptist in faith and loved gardening, flowers, and her friends and neighbors.

Visitation with the family will be on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 6:00-8:00 PM and again on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 from 11:00-12 Noon at Oakdale Decatur Funeral Home. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, May 21, 2024 at 12 Noon at Oakdale Decatur Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Don Franks officiating. Burial will follow in Prospect Cemetery in Decatur County.
