Bro. Leonard H. Greer

Bro. Leonard H. Greer, 87, of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022 in the comfort of his own home, surrounded by his family. Bro. Greer was born on April 30, 1935, in Benton County, to the late Hershel and Ruth Florence Greer. He is proceeded in death by his loving wife of 54 years, Irene Greer; brother Eulas Greer; sister Fayoma Clement.

For more than 60 years, Bro. Greer was a minister who diligently worked to spread God’s word. Throughout his ministry he pastored several churches and spent 35 years broadcasting Radio Christian Voice.  Bro. Greer enjoyed traveling and singing gospel music with his family as a member of the Messenger quartet. In addition to his lifelong ministry, Bro. Greer served as funeral director for Stockdale-Malin Funeral Home for 24 years.

It was Bro. Greer’s lifelong mission to spread the gospel for all to hear. He was a beloved pillar of his community, participating in many events and was active with the Benton County Ministerial Alliance.

Great-Great Grandchildren: Kenlee Plant, Kasen Weston, and AJ, Marlee, Beaux Ibarra

Visitation with the family will be on Saturday, December 17, 2022 from 9:00-2:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel. Burial to follow in the Camden City Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers the family request that donations be made to Pleasant Hill Church in honor of Bro. Leonard Greer.
