Clarice Wheatley

Clarice Wheatley, age 88, of Camden, Tennessee passed away on Monday, January 1, 2024 at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital. Mrs. Wheatley was born on October 11, 1935 in Benton County, to the late William Issac Allen and the late Levester Cole Allen. She was also preceded in death by her husband Earnest O. Wheatley; brothers Verdell Allen, Wayne Allen, Lonnie Allen; and sisters Avery Littleton, Mavis Howe, Reba Cottrell, Ruby Galbreath, and Peggy Johnson.
Mrs. Wheatley was retired seamstress from the H.I.S. clothing factory in Bruceton, Tennessee. She loved to work in her garden and flower beds, crocheting, and as a great cook, enjoyed providing meals for her family.

Son: Randy (Sula) Wheatley
Sister: Sue Butler
Brothers: Glendell Allen, Vernon Allen
Grandchildren: John (Jessica) Davidson, Brittnie (Chase) Horton, Dustin Wheatley
Great-Grandchildren: Savannah Davidson, Ashlynn Davidson, Ava Horton, Tristan Horton
Visitation will be on January 7, 2024 from 11:00-2:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden, TN.
Funeral Services will be held on January 7, 2024 at 2 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Doyle Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Benton Memory Gardens.
