Evah Leone Doughterty Sigler, aka Mrs. Penny, age 69, of Camden, TN passed away on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. Mrs. Sigler was born on December 9, 1954, in Michigan to the late Jay and Marabelle Doughterty. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, Merlin Crowder, Ronald Doughterty, and Nathan Doughterty; sisters, Atha Jean, Linda Baker, and Geraldine Boylan; and her best friend, Patiricia “Pat”.
“Mrs. Penny” had a huge caring heart. She loved her pets, children and helping the elderly and would help anyone. Evah recently found the love of God and that she had value and purpose. Friends got to pray with her and experience first-hand miracles that were happening in her life. She was funny and lighthearted and highly devoted to her husband. Evah found the love of her life and married Edward Sigler who had been a logger. After Ed had a tragic accident, she had spent her time caring for him and making sure his needs were provided for until the day she passed. Her two dogs, Angel and Tiny, and her cat were her companions which she loved. Tiny was left to her when she lost her best friend only months ago. She will be sorely missed.
