Gail Usry

Gail Usry, age 70, of Chapmansboro, TN passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2024, at her residence. Mrs. Usry was born on October 20, 1954, in Benton County, TN to the late Ollie Thomas Carey and the late Dorothy Johnson Carey. She was also preceded in death by her husband, David Wayne Usry; brothers, Thomas Carey and Jimmy Carey; and sister, Judy Strickland. 

Gail was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She lived out her faith as a dedicated Christian every day and attended Hilldale Baptist Church in Clarksville, TN. She loved her family and friends more than anything and she cherished every second spent with them. Gail was known as a loving and compassionate caregiver, always putting others needs before her own. She was an incredibly talented seamstress and cook. She also made beautiful works of art through needlepoint and crocheting. Gail was an avid dog lover, you could always find her with one of her beloved fur babies curled up next to her. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and her little buddy Rocky.

Visitation with the family will be on Sunday, November 17, 2024, from 10:00-1:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home in Camden, TN.

Funeral services will be held on Sunday, November 17, 2024, at 1:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Dexter Guin officiating. Burial will follow in Cowell’s Chapel Cemetery.
