Hazel Trudene Atchison

Hazel Trudene Atchison, age 94, of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital. Mrs. Atchison was born on June 28, 1929, in Benton County, TN to the late Carlos Hicks and the late Pearl Smothers Hicks. She was also preceded in death by her husband, John Thomas Atchison; brother, Bill Hicks; and a sister, Dean Pierpoint. Mrs. Atchison was a member of the Rushings Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Camden, TN. She loved gardening, crocheting, working puzzles, spending time with her family, and enjoyed tending her flower garden.

Daughters: Donna (Henry) Cook of Camden, TN and Regina (Gary) Bass of Fairfield Glade, TN

Sister: “Top” Lela Mae Phillips of Camden, TN

Grandson: David Cook of Camden, TN

Visitation with the family will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, from 10:00-1:00 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home.

Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, June 27, 2024, at 1 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tony Boyd and Bro. Ron Stewart officiating. Burial will follow in the Rushings Creek Cemetery.
