Jack Farmer

Mr. A.N. “Jack” Farmer, age 93 of Camden, TN passed away on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at his residence. Mr. Farmer was born on March 3, 1926 in Benton County to the late Coy Farmer and Audrey Wheatley Farmer. He was also preceded in death by his wife of 69 years, Vergie Mae Douglas Farmer and brother Sonny Farmer. Mr. Farmer was employed by Genesco, Hardy Sand Company and TVA. He retired from the Benton County Highway Department at the age of 84. Mr. Farmer was a member of Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church and was a U.S. WWII Army Veteran.

Grandchildren: Amy (Andy) Fitchpatrick, Sandra (Justin) Thornton, Karen (Taylor) Everett, Daniel (Chelsea) Farmer

Great Grandchildren: Jackson & Stella Thornton, Dylan & Gracie Fitchpatrick, Landon & Brooks Everett

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at 1:30 pm at the Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Randy Thompson and Bro. Arzell Douglas officiating. Burial will follow in the Cross Roads Cemetery.

Visitation with the Farmer family will be held on Monday, July 8, 2019 from 5:00-8:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home and again on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 10:00-1:30 pm at the Cross Roads Missionary Baptist Church.
