James "Jim" Arnold Darby

James “Jim” Arnold Darby, age 89 of Decaturville, TN passed away Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Tri Star Hospital in Dickson, TN. He was born May 1, 1933 in Twin Branch, West Virginia to the late Luther Claude Darby and Mary Ellen Davidson Darby. Mr. Darby was also preceded in death by his 1^st wife Jean Hill Darby, son James Timothy Darby, and step son Benny Mitchell. He worked as an Agent for Pipelines. Mr. Darby attended The River United Pentecostal Church and was a U. S. Army Veteran.  

Survivors include wife Carol Darby of Decaturville, TN; daughter Diana Susan Livengood (Larry) of Parsons, TN; step daughters: Lisa Mitchell of Parsons, TN, Michelle (Tim) Martin of Allentown, PA; brother Benjamin Harrison Coffman of MI.; grandchildren Chris (Michelle) Hood, Amanda (David) Michael, Clint (Brandi) Hood, April (Steve) Haltom, Mitchell (Rebecca) Bingham, Susan Bingham, Shawna Mitchell, Avery Martin, Allie Martin.

Several great grandchildren and a host of friends and relatives

Visitation will be conducted on Tuesday, December 27, 2022 from 4:00-7:00 pm and again on Wednesday, December 28, 2022 from 9:00-11:00 am at The River United Pentecostal Church in Parsons, TN.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am Wednesday, December 28, 2022 at The River United Pentecostal Church with Pastor Ron Wofford officiating. Burial will follow in Scotts Hill Pentecostal Church Cemetery.
