James “J.L.” Lee Blackwell, age 63 of Parsons, TN passed away on Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at Vanderbilt Medical Center. Mr. Blackwell was born on August 4, 1957 in Memphis, TN. He was preceded in death by his parents, James Loyce Blackwell, Hazel Cottrell Blackwell and brother, Bryan Blackwell. Mr. Blackwell was retired from Century Electric and attended Darden Pentecostal Church.

Son: Jimmy Don (Jennifer) Blackwell of Sardis, TN
Daughter: Sabrina Blackwell of Parsons, TN
Brother: Larry (Alice) Blackwell of Parsons, TN
Sister: Debbie Goodman of KY
Eight Grandchildren: Kaylee Stephens, Jillian Blackwell, Chaslin Capley, Raleigh Blackwell, Sara Stephens, Zeke Blackwell, Adyson Stephens, Eli Capley
Several relatives and friends
Visitation will be Thursday, April 22, 2021 from 5:00-9:00 pm, Friday, April 23, 2021 from 10:00-10:00 pm and Saturday, April 24, 2021 from 8:00-11:00 am all at Darden Pentecostal Church in Darden, TN. Burial will follow in the Darden Cemetery.
Funeral Service will be Saturday, April 24, 2021 at 11 AM at Darden Pentecostal Church with Bro. Ronnie Parrish officiating.
