Jeanette Beeler Parker grew up in Middlesboro, Kentucky. The nickname ‘Tootsie’ was given to her as a child, and remained throughout her 91 years. In 1956, she married and spent 50 years with the love of her life, James Parker. She is predeceased by him, as well as her parents Enoch and Stella (West) Beeler, and her four siblings: Shirley Mason, Elmer Parker, Enoch Beeler Jr, & Dorothy Cunningham.
She spent approximately 25 years in Florida, before moving to Camden in 1990. She enjoyed feeding hummingbirds in her back yard, quilting and making crafts and found great joy in cooking for others. Her legendary chicken and dumplings will be missed by many. She was a member of Grace Baptist Church in Paris, TN.
Her family and friends will remember her humor, kindness, and her faith in the Lord.
She leaves behind several loving family members including daughter Judy (Peace) Wescott; son Kenny Peace; grandchildren Kimberly (Bowman) Brown, Jenny Peace, Lana Wescott and Jamie Wescott; six great grandchildren; brother and sister in law Willis & Joyce Parker; many nephews, nieces and treasured friends Edna & Jack Thacker, and David & Rhoadie Thacker.
