Jo Evelyn Yarbro

June 15, 1932 — September 12, 2021

Jo Evelyn Yarbro, 89, of Lexington, TN passed away on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at her residence. Mrs. Yarbro was born on June 15, 1932 in Decatur County to the late Earnest C. Magers and Josephine Leasure Magers. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clyde Yarbro, Jr., son, Sammy Yarbro; two infant sisters and grandsons, Jason Yarbro and Chad Yarbro. Mrs. Yarbro was a homemaker and member of Independence Church of Christ in Lexington. She was also a drug and alcohol counselor and worked at Decaturville Sportswear and Department Store.

Survivors include:

Son: Robert Shawn Yarbro of Ashland City, TN

Daughters: Charlotte Gail Dunavant of Lexington, TN

                 Diane Singleton of Ashland City, TN

Brother: Don Magers of Saltillo, TN

Eight Grandchildren

Eleven Great Grandchildren

 

Graveside Services will be held on Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at 1 pm at Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bath Springs, TN with Gary Puryear officiating.

Visitation with the Yarbro family will be held on Tuesday, Sept 14, 2021 from 10:00-12:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home Decatur Co.
