Joe Harold Swearingen

Mr. Joseph “Joe” Harold Swearingen, age 75 of Camden, TN passed away on Wednesday, July 29, 2020 at his residence. Mr. Swearingen was born on October 7, 1944 in San Francisco, CA to the late Harold Swearingen and Olivia Edwards Swearingen. He was also preceded in death by brothers Woodrow “Tiny” White, David Swearingen, Thomas Swearingen; sisters Mary Louise Bain and Peggy Reeves. Mr. Swearingen was a retired Boilermaker of 50 plus years with Local Union 455. He was a founding member of Grace Baptist Church in Camden, TN, a Mason and Shriner for 50 years.

Brother: Jerry Wayne (Pat) Swearingen of East TN

Grandchildren: Ashley (Chris) Carver, Dr. Noelle Henry, Lillie Swearingen, Adri Swearingen, Macie Rowan, Kaden Rowan, Nevaeh Swearingen

Great Grandchild: Madeline Carver

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2020 at 1 PM at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Gary Greer officiating. Burial will follow in the Benton Memory Gardens.

Visitation with the Swearingen family will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 from 5:30-9:00 and again on Saturday, August 1, 2020 from 10:00-1:00 pm.

A Masonic service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2020 at 7:00 pm.
