John G. Ruth

August 4, 1939 - January 26, 2022

John Ruth, 82, of the Birdsong Community departed this life at NHC of Milan on 26 of January 2022. John was born in Hardin County the son of the Burl and Ardie Jane Ruth. After attending high school he enlisted in the US Navy and was a veteran of the Vietnam War. He held various positions involving the printing trade throughout his life. He loved his pets and was known to be one of those old men who had his little dog "Mollie" with him everywhere he went. He enjoyed going to flea markets and was unable to pass a yard sale without stopping.

He is survived by his son, John (Tony ) Ruth and his wife, Cindy, of Mt Pleasant TN and his grandchildren Cassidy Ruth and Cannon Ruth. He also leaves several nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly and was referred to as their "Uncle Johnny".

In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his daughter, Lisa Ruth. Also preceding was his siblings Gean Ruth (brother) and sisters Jane Ferguson and Peggy Dodds.

There will be a 10:30 AM graveside burial service with military honors held at Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads on Monday January 31, 2022.
