Judy Doris McCain

Judy Doris Phillips McCain departed this life on August 24, 2020 at her home in Decaturville after a long battle with cancer at the age of 65 years, 3 months and 19 days. She was born May 5, 1955 to the late Bud Phillips and Gertrude Tucker Phillips in Decaturville, TN. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Joann Phillips, Freda Browder, one brother, Don Phillips.

On June 20, 1972 she was united in marriage to Roger McCain who survives.  Judy worked most of her life in garments factories, including Kay-Windsor, I. Appel and retired from Riverside High School Cafeteria. She enjoyed camping, fishing, visiting the Smokey Mountains and most of all spending time with her family and friends.

Husband: Roger McCain of 48 years of Decaturville, TN

Daughter: Angie (Clay) Gardner of Decaturville, TN       

Son: Brian McCain of Decaturville, TN. 

Sisters: Carolyn Page of Iuka, MS

             Kinda Jackson of Decaturville, TN

             Linda Moss of Decaturville, TN

Grandchildren: Nicholas and Katlin Gardner of Decaturville, TN

A host of nieces and nephews that also loved her dearly.             

Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, August 26, 2020 at 2:00 PM in the chapel of Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Raymond Roach officiating. Interment will follow at Pleasant Hill Cemetery.     

Visitation with the McCain family will be Tuesday, August 25, 2020 from 5 PM until 9:00 PM and resume on Wednesday at 10:00 AM and continue until time of service.
