Linuel (Lynn) Allen

Linuel (Lynn) Allen age 77,  passed away Sunday, November 6, 2022 at Tennessee State Veterans Home in Humboldt, TN. He served his Country in the U. S. Marine Corps in Vietnam. He joined the Tennessee Highway Patrol in 1972 and served as Captain for several years before retiring in 2006.  He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time with his dog “Wally Mo”.

He leaves to cherish his memory his mother, Avie O. Allen of Holladay, TN, his wife of 52 years, Gloria Livingston Allen, Son, Michael L. Allen of Jackson, TN, Daughters, Sharon Hinson of Parsons, TN and Regenna Leegan of Lobelville, TN , Grandchildren, Jennifer Clayborne, Joe Hinson, IV, Erin Cude and Zackary Leegan, Special grandson, Tony (TJ) Stewart and wife Kayla of Jackson, TN, nieces, Rhonda Sanders of McKewen, TN, Tammy Jones of Jackson, TN, Amelia Sewell of Waverly, TN, nephews, Ronnie Ray of Clarksville, TN, Gerald “Roscoe” Sims of Linden, TN..

Preceded in death by: Father: Jessie Lee Allen, brother, Don Lee Allen, one sister, Imogene Bastin.  

Visitation with the Allen  family will be Tuesday, November 8, 2022 from 4 PM until 8 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home and on Wednesday from 1PM until 2PM at Flatwoods Baptist Church. .
