Mechelle Atkinson

Mrs. Lisa Mechelle Atkinson, age 59 of New Johnsonville, TN. passed away on Wednesday, December 26, 2018 at Alive Hospice in Murfreesboro, TN. Mechelle was born on December 4, 1959 in Nashville, TN.  She was a Bank Teller with First Bank and Baptist in faith.

Mother: Renee Hardin Atkins of New Johnsonville, TN

Husband: Jim Atkinson of New Johnsonville, TN

Daughter: Misty (Matt) Morse of Conway, AR.

Step Son: Charlie Atkinson of Murray, KY

Sisters: Stephanie (Greg) Robb of Martin, TN

                Jennifer (Jason) Walker of Murfreesboro, TN

Grandchildren: Tristan, Parker, Dutch and Miles

Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at 2 PM at the Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Steve Whitworth officiating. Burial will follow in the New Johnsonville Methodist Cemetery.

Visitation with the Atkinson family will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2018 at Oakdale Funeral Home from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Sunday, December 30, 2018 from 1:00-2:00 PM.
