Mary Edith Baugus

Mary Edith Baugus, 99, went to her heavenly home on October 17, 2022. She was born February 6, 1923, in Eva, Tennessee to the late S. Clive and Nora Wilson. Mary worked at the ASC office in Camden prior to attending school in Nashville and becoming a hairdresser. She was owner/operator of a salon at her residence in Holladay, Tennessee for many years. She was a long-time member of the Church of Christ and loved reading her bible.

Mary was preceded in death by her beloved husband Noel Leon Baugus; sister Bessie Phifer; daughter-in-law Elizabeth Joyce Melton; granddaughter-in-law Francis Nicole Downer.

She is survived by her son, James Noel Baugus of Holladay, TN; two grandsons, Jammie Ray (Stephanie) Baugus and Jason Don Baugus of Holladay, TN; great grandchildren, Jordan Taylor Cerovac, Cambridge, MA; Cody James Baugus, Holladay, TN and Jared Baugus, Holladay, TN.

Visitation with the family will be on Friday, October 21, 2022 from 11:00-1:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, October 21, 2022 at 2 PM at Holladay Cemetery.
