Mary Ruth Fields

Mrs. Mary Ruth Fields, age79 of Eva, TN passed away on Friday, September 6, 2019 at her residence. Mrs. Fields was born on March 29, 1940 in Portsmith, Ohio to the late Ebert Allen Mayo and Mary Lucille Rayburn Mayo. She was preceded in death by her husband James B. Fields and  grandparents Ollie Mayo and Fontella Mayo. She was a retired hairdresser and member of Shiloh United Methodist Church.  

Survivors include:

Daughter: Johanna Downard of Eva, TN.

Grandson: Luke Downard of Dresden, TN.

Brother: Ebert Allen (Mary) Mayo of Mumford, Tn.

Brothers in Law: Theron Eugene Fields of Millington, TN.

                         William Fields of Florida

Many Cousins in Ohio and Kentucky

Fraternal aunt in Kentucky  

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 at 12 noon at Oakdale Funeral Home with Bro. Randy Reed officiating. Burial will follow at the Flatwoods Cemetery.  

Visitation with the Fields family will be on Wednesday, September 11, 2019 from 10:00-12:00 pm.
