Mary Alice Mathis

Ms. Mary Alice Mathis, age 94 of Camden, TN passed away on Monday, August 17, 2020 at Camden Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center. Ms. Mathis was born on September 18, 1925 in Benton County to the late Ezra Stone and Ola Pafford Stone. She was also preceded in death by her husband Cavie No Mathis; sons Troy Mathis, Earl Mathis; daughters Elizabeth Tarr, Mae Wheatley; brothers Buck Stone, Audie Stone, Ezra Lee Stone; sisters Bertha Dean Stone, Lois Simmons, Elsie Cox, Ernestine Stone; grandson James Earl Mathis. She was a retired cook with Mom’s Kitchen and member of Bethel Pentecostal Church. She attended Tabernacle Pentecostal Church and raised Bridget Mae Mathis.

            Evelyn Crews of Camden, TN

Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at 11 am at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Hedge officiating. Burial will follow in the Flatwoods Cemetery.

Visitation with the Mathis family will be on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 from 5:00-8:00 pm and again on Thursday, August 20, 2020 from 9:00-11:00 am.
