Mildred Faye Briley

Faye Singleton Briley, age 95, of Springville, TN passed away Monday, November 6, 2023 at her residence. Mrs. Briley was born on August 12, 1928 in Adamsville, TN to the late Elvis Singleton and the late Gestel White Singleton. She retired after many years working in sewing garment factories and Uncle Lee’s Sporting Goods Store. She loved fishing, gardening and spending time with her family. She loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren coming for visits. Mrs. Briley was a faithful member of Springville Baptist Church.

Mrs. Briley was also preceded in death by her husband of 72 years, James Briley; daughter, Barbara Mays; son-in-law, Barney Mays; sisters, Genelle Talley of Savannah, TN and  Jimie Ruth Singleton of Adamsville, TN; brother, Elvis Junior Singleton.
