Nancy Thomas Brewer

Nancy Thomas Brewer went to be with her Lord on Sunday, January 31, 2021. She passed away peacefully at home while being
cared for by her family and home hospice caregivers.

Nancy was born April 16th, 1938 in McNairy County,Tennessee to Callie and Winnie Thomas. She is preceded
in death by her parents and her 5 brothers J.C., Floyd, Harold, Travis and Billy Jean and her sister Emolene
Lemons. Nancy was the last living member of her family of origin. She moved with her family to Arkansas
when she was 4 years old where she lived many years and raised her children. Nancy met and married her
husband Audie Brewer in 2015 and moved to his home in Wildersville, TN where she resided until her death.
She has been an active follower of the Lord and was a member of Ridgegrove Missionary Baptist Church

Nancy will be lovingly remembered by her husband Audie Brewer, her 4 children and their spouses, Ruth Ross
(Bill), Naomi Graves (Dewey), Brenda Craft (Andy), and Artie Bushong, as well as her 10 grandchildren,their
spouses and 5 great grandchildren, Tom, Nancy and Dylan Ross, Joshua Graves (daughter Destiny), Kevin
Craft (Mikcca) (daughters Lillie and Lucie), Andrea Read (Nate) (son Boyce and daughter Victoria), Abby Craft
and Aaron, Austin and Alex Bushong. She also leaves behind many beloved nieces and nephews.

Nancy’s belief in God, Church and family were the priorities of her life. She treasured and embraced her
children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren and assisted in raising most of them. She had a vivacious
personality and always made people feel loved wherever she was. She will be missed by all who were fortunate                                          enough to get to know her.                                            

Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 2 pm at Mt. Ararat Cemetery in Darden, TN. 

Visitation with the Brewer family will be on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 from 8:00-12:00 pm at Oakdale Funeral Home Decatur Co.
