Opal Phifer Ridley

Mrs. Opal Phifer Ridley, age 93, of Camden, TN passed away on Sunday, August 7, 2022 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Ridley was born on January 14, 1929 in Camden, TN to the late James Thomas Johnson and Barbara Ann Cox Johnson.  She was also preceded in death by 1^st Husband, Clemmie Phifer, 2^nd Husband, Duane Ridley; Son Phillip Phifer; Grandson David Dodd; Brothers and Sisters: Elgie Johnson, Nellie Johnson, Ora Cole, Gladys Shannon, Coleman Johnson, Lester Paul Johnson, John Thomas Johnson, Granville Johnson, Clayton Johnson and Levona Brinkley. Mrs. Ridley was a Lifetime member of Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church.

Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 from 5:30-9:00 PM and Wednesday, August 10, 2022 8:00-10:00 AM at Oakdale Funeral Home. Visitation will resume on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 11:00 AM-2:00 PM at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 2 PM at Crossroads Missionary Baptist Church with Bro. Derrick Jowers and Bro. Randy Thompson officiating. Burial will follow in Crossroads Cemetery.
