Sarah Elizabeth Edwards

 Sarah Elizabeth Edwards, age 83 of Holladay, Tn passed away Saturday, June 4, 2022 at her residence. Ms. Edwards was born December 30, 1938 to the late Earl Souderes and Floye Temple Souderes in Magnolia, MS. She was preceded in death by her husband, J. W. Edwards, daughter, Mary Ruth Edwards, one great grandson, one great granddaughter, one grandson, Danny Storey.

She was a seamstress at Movie Star in Fernwood, MS, a babysitter to many and a homemaker. She loved her family, church, her dogs, crafting, flowers, and most importantly God.

She volunteered for many veterans events, Truckers Chapel, nursing homes, church class teacher, Boy Scouts and anywhere needed. She was a member of Flatwoods Baptist Church in Holladay, TN.

Survivors include:

Daughter: Ann (Jack) LaMance, Holladay, TN              

Sons: Frank (Cindy) Edwards, Branson, MO

          Bob (Nancy) Edwards, Conroe, TX

Sisters: Marie Schoendorf, Magnolia, MS

             Linda and Jackie McKenzie , Fernwood, MS

Twenty-nine grandchildren

Thirty-two great grandchildren

Eight great great grandchildren

Several nieces and nephews  

Visitation with the Edwards family will be Wednesday, June 8, 2022 from 11 AM until 2 PM at Oakdale Funeral Home- Decatur County.    

Funeral Service will be held Wednesday, June 8, 2022  at 2 PM  at Oakdale Funeral Home Decatur County with Bro. Hoyt Wilson officiating. Interment will follow at Decatur County Memorial Gardens.
