The sun rose and the world welcomed Shirley Ann Baker Markham on October 16, 1945, a day the world became a little brighter. Born to the late Orin Newton Baker and Winifred Lovey Cowell Baker, Shirley, a unique and fancy individual touched the lives of all that knew her. She was also preceded in death by a brother Larry Baker. Shirley attended Molers Beauty School in Memphis and was a beauty therapist and hair stylist for over 40 years. She was the best in the business. She was a fabulous cook and enjoyed fishing, painting and putting a smile on everyones face. “Sam” is on her next great journey.
